Medical Exam for Express Entry

Starting August 21st, 2025 Canada’s immigration department will require upfront medical exams for those who apply for permanent residence through Express Entry program. Applications submitted prior to August 21st, 2025 as well Non-Express Entry permanent residence applications will not be affected by the new changes.

Applicants in Canada who have undergone a medical exam for work permit, study permit within the past 5 years can still use their medical exam unless determined otherwise.
